I was shocked to hear of Brian’s passing. We lost touch following his years at CSE. In the early nineties we worked together to develop a new and relevant task to support the Canadian military in dealing with changing world events. He was a gentleman and a professional and quick to share his knowledge and experience with counterpart Intelligence Officers. One of the soft spoken ‘cold war heroes’ of the time.
