Obituary for Margery Audrey "Marge" Thomas (Riehl)

Margery Audrey "Marge" Thomas (Riehl)
Mrs. Margery “Marge” Thomas, beloved wife of Mr. Robert “Bob” Thomas of Medicine Hat, passed away on Wednesday, July 3rd, 2013 at the age of 67 years. Marge also leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Tammy (David) Jones and their children, Alexander and Connor and Tracey (Clinton) Pfeifer and their children, Madison and Rylie; two brothers, Edward (Arlene) Riehl and Robert (Judy) Riehl; one sister, Linda (Leo) Klein; Bob’s siblings, Veta Bedrij, Verla Evans, Norman (Peulette) Thomas; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and extended family. Marge was predeceased by her parents, Solomon and Ruth Riehl; one daughter, Nadine Cory; as well as ten of Bob’s siblings. It's with heavy hearts that we write this today. On the morning of July 3, 2013 we lost our wife, soul mate, mom, grama, sister, aunt, friend and a wonderful lady. Well more accurately she crossed over (I don't think she's lost:) She left this world to continue her journey, and she will be so very missed. Marge was such an amazing lady in so many ways. She had an abundance of love and patience for every stray animal and every friend in need (you know who you are:) that my dad, my sister and I could conceive to bring home. We are proud to say that our house was where everyone always wanted to come, in large part because of her. We are grateful she will no longer have to wage the war she has fought for the last 7 years. Between the triple bypass in 2006, the aneurysm surgery in 2007 followed by pneumonia, two extensive stays in ICU and finally lung cancer in January 3, 2013, she can finally rest. We are honoured but not surprised by all the support, loving thoughts, prayers and candles lit in the hopes she can feel our love on her souls new venture. Margery Audrey you can never be replaced or forgotten. We love you so very very much and the hole you leave behind will never be filled.
