Boyd and family. I am so sorry to read of Grace’s passing. Howard had told me some time ago that she wasn’t well, so I thought of her today, and put her name on my computer. I knew her when she was a little girl, and my family would visit the neighbours. She was a happy, fun person to visit, as was her whole family. My sympathy to you all.

Kim Anderson

Dear Boyd and family, I was very saddend to see that Grace had passed away. I had no idea she had been unwell. One of the groups that Grace volunteered for was Operation Minerva, a yearly conference for Grade 9 girls to encourage and interest them in careers in Math and Science. This is how I came to know Grace. She impressed me with her friendly, kind and gentle nature and the fact that she was so dependable and reliable. She also struck me as being calm and capable, an influence greatly valued by myself during the chaos of 50 Grade 9 girls from junior highs across southern Alberta, going in 25 directions.

I was touched to know that you had been high school sweethearts Boyd. Grace will truly be missed by all who knew her throughout the years. My condolences, Kim Anderson
