Lea Hadley of Medicine Hat, beloved wife of the late Merle Hadley, passed away peacefully in her sleep at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Thursday, December 25th, 2014 at the age of 82 years. Lea leaves to cherish her memory her loving sisters, Mary and Marilyn; her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, Cathy; Dawn - Marris / Kenji - Mariko; Joi - Les; Eiko - Nathan / Kate - Hadley; Kendra - Trevor / Chloe; Marina - Greg / Olivia - Joshua - Nicholas; Bert - Moira / Mason; Trevor - Barb / Lisa - Mike / Shelby; Sarah - Jon, Kelsey, Adam, Andrew; Josh - Shannon / Gage - Liam - Ava; Brenda - Roger; Ryan - Robin / Nathan - Noah; Tamara, Cory - Tammy; Doug - Nicole; Jamine - Nicole, River - Sky; Sylvia / Robyn - Kyle. Lea was predeceased by her loving husband, Merle Hadley; and great granddaughter, Ashley. Lea was born on the family farm in the Turtle Mountains. She married the love of her life, Merle Hadley on August 28th, 1954. Merle and Lea had 5 children and lived in various towns including, Alameda, Brooks, Lethbridge and Medicine Hat. Lea was known for her loving personality and her willingness to open her heart and home to everyone making them feel loved and welcome. Lea’s family was her pride and joy and her most prized accomplishment. A Private Time of Remembrance will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in Lea's memory may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association, Medicine Hat & District Branch, 102, 73 - 7th Street SE, Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1A 1J2 or to the Renal Dialysis Unit at MHRH, c/o Medicine Hat and District Health Foundation, 666 - 5th Street SW, Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1A 4H6.
