My Aunt, My Godmother and legacy

Tonight as I reflect on so many memories... It's hard to comprehend how to place it all in a few words. How blessed I am to be a part of a heritage of FAITH. Auntie Dorreen was quiet, confident, whity and a woman who loved and feared The Lord. She glowed! She radiated Christs love and her hands and feet were used continually to bring glory to The Lord. Oh how I would like to read through her Bible that would be the treasure of all treasures. I know that she was always humble, gracious, kind, peaceful, patient, loving, gentle she kept no record of wrongs never held a grudge, she was sf controlled and exuded Christs love upon everyone she encountered. Oh what a rich blessing to have a God Mother, auntie and mentor in my life to show me such a rich example of how to love unconditionally. I will never forget when I asked for lessons in baking buns. How that sleep over and weekend alone with my Aunt turned into laughter confidence building teaching on baking and the reward of 7 dozen buns and several pans of cinnamon rolls... Helped me get prepared to serve and cook and love on others selflessly. Those hands of hers fed a multitude of people. If only we could know all the mouths she fed??? Interesting I'm sure there are lots of jewels on her crown up there. I wish I could be with the entire family at such a time as this. Please know my heart is there. Auntie you will be missed but I know that the party in heaven has got to be so amazing! With Love Karen Buss Ehlert
