An Endless Friendship

A few years ago, between my third and fourth year of university, Jacquie took me on as an intern at MHC. Jacquie not only became my mentor but (despite our age gap) we became quick true friends. Talking about everything from travelling to food and even our life stories. Even though Jacquie had alot more life experience than I, she always respected me as an equal and loved to listen to my stories. She had such a beautiful impact on my life and I'm very thankful for having met her and having been able to work with her. After I finished working with her at MHC, we stayed in contact. I have Jacquie to thank for pushing me to be where I am today, as she encouraged me to move to Saskatoon and start my life. I had only talked to Jacquie a few weeks ago, and had full intentions to visit her when I came to Medicine Hat for Easter and introduce her to my new Fiance. Jacquie, you will truly be missed as you had and always will have such a soft spot in my heart. May you rest in peace, you will definitely not be forgotten by me or by many others who loved you greatly.
