I was very sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. I feel very fortunate and privileged to have known your mom for many years. It was during the 1973-1974 school year that I first met your mom. It became very apparent that she had a high commitment to her family and public education. As a long-time neighbour, I always appreciated the high example that she set for others. Her home and yard became a "show place" that helped our neighbourhood become special. In short, your mom was a special person. Please accept my sincere sympathies. I am thinking of you during this difficult time.
