Obituary for Garth Larry Price

Garth Larry Price
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Garth Price, beloved husband of Cheryl Price, on Friday, May 11, 2018 at the age of 59 years. Garth also leaves to cherish his memory step-son, Calvin (Andrea) Martin; three granddaughters, Jade, Alivia, and Charlotte; mother-in-law, Fran Coffey; two brothers, Ray (Joan) Price and Rick Price (Jan Kline); brothers-in-law, Daryl Knowler and Peter Coffey; step sister-in-law, Jan (Dan) Holmedal; step brothers-in-law, Tom Coffey and Russ (Kelly) Coffey; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Garth was predeceased by his parents, Al and Evelyn Price; sister, Donna-Ray Knowler; and fathers-in-law, Sonny Martin and Frank Coffey. Garth was born on November 27, 1958 in Medicine Hat and lived his entire life here. He grew up with a love for the outdoors…fishing with his family and friends was one of his favourite things to do. He was employed with CP Rail for 37 years before retiring five years ago. Garth had a great way of telling a story and would have everyone laughing by the end of his tale. He loved spending time with his family and especially loved spending time with his granddaughters. Garth always had to make sure everyone around him was taken care of before looking after himself; even till the end he was concerned that we would be ok.
