Irene “Tah” Jans of Calgary, beloved wife of the late Alfred Jans, passed away on Thursday, October 20th, 2016 at the age of 90 years. Irene leaves to cherish her memory her children, Ed (Barbara) Jans and Bonnie Jans; two grandchildren, Darcy Jans and Chet (Jamie) Jans and their children Taos and Rhett; two sisters, her twin Lydia Pahl and younger sister Edna Redelback; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Irene was predeceased by her husband, Alfred; her parents, Mathias and Emma Knoblick; her great grandson, Tanner; as well as numerous sisters and brothers-in-law. Irene loved gardening. She was an avid reader and enjoyed listening to music. She will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends.
