Ed was a friendly and personable man. He told great stories, usually with gusto and a big smile. More than that, he was a wonderful neighbour, helping out whenever he could. More than once he came to my rescue: when a bird flew down the chimney, Ed helped me to get it out of the house; when my lawnmower flooded, Ed helped me start it; Ed taught me how to change the oil and sparkplug on my mower; and when I didn’t have the tools that I needed for a job, Ed loaned me his. I so appreciated all his help over the years! My condolences to Jo and the family on their loss. Best wishes, Sue
