Obituary for Olivier Elzear Joseph "Oliver" Lambert

Olivier Elzear Joseph Lambert was born on December 15th, 1923 in Ponteix, Saskatchewan, the eldest son of Ferdinand and Anna (Lebel) Lambert. He had five brothers and three sisters. Due to his mother passing away when he was only 21 years of age, Oliver took over most of the farming. He was proud to be a farmer and enjoyed talking "farming". Oliver married Alice Chenard on June 30th, 1979. They resided in Kelowna until 2010 when they moved to Medicine Hat where they enjoyed their life at the Wellington. Alice predeceased Oliver on January 29th, 2015. His life changed greatly with the passing of his life partner, Alice. Oliver was hospitalized on February 11th, 2015 where he resided until his passing on Friday, August 28th, 2015. Oliver was predeceased by his parents, Ferdinand and Anna; his brothers, Jules and Andre; his sister, Laurianne; his brothers-in-law, Louis de Rocquigny and Rosaire Cote; and his sister-in-law, Cecile Lambert. Oliver is survived by his brothers, Emile (Ellen), Raymond (Theresa), and Archie (Bernadette); his sisters, Marianne Cote and Rose (Allan) Williams; as well as many nieces and nephews.
