Frank Hagemeister passed away peacefully on July 17, 2015, at the age of 82 years. He was surrounded by the caring staff of Medicine Hat Regional Hospital’s 2-North.

Frank leaves to remember him always his wife of 55 years, Betty Hagemeister (Forde), Daughter; Lorena (Charles) Wadman, Son; Ernie Hagemeister, Grandchildren; Jarrett (Jessica) Johnson, Jason Johnson, Tyler Johnson, Caleb Hagemeister, Kelsey-Ann (Marcelo) Ramirez, Nathan Wadman, and Alyssa Wadman, and Great-grandchild; Greyson Ramirez. He also is survived by his Sister; Nellie (Alec) Dergousoff, Brother; Eugene Hagemeister, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Fred and Bertha Hagemeister along with two brothers Tommy and Wendal Hagemeister.

Frank was many things to many people. To his family he was a reliable source of advice, love, and laughter. To his friends he was a trusted confidant and could always be counted on to have a story to fit any situation. It was clear his love for people he called family or friend ran deep.

Frank retired from a 32 year career at Goodyear Canada, an experience that provided him with many great memories. Frank also served as a transit driver for the City of Medicine Hat.

Within the community, calling Frank a dedicated volunteer would be an understatement. Over the years he has been an active member of many community organizations including; the Lions Club, Royal Canadian Legion, among many others. Additionally he volunteered his time as a bus driver for assorted community groups and church ministries.
