Obituary for Egbert Allan "Bert" Briffett

Egbert "Bert" Allan Briffett of Medicine Hat, Alberta, passed away on Thursday, July 2nd, 2015 at the age of 64 years. Bert leaves to cherish his memory his brother, Andy (Pat) Briffett; his sisters, Joan (Wayne) Baylis, Barbara (Ian) Miggins, and Marlene Briffett; one sister-in-law, Doris Briffett; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Bert was predeceased by his parents, Egbert and Mamie Briffett, three brothers, Malcolm "Red", Barry, and Calvin; and one sister, Isabel (Don) Bremmer. Bert's working career took him many places from Newfoundland, Montreal, Elliot Lake and Medicine Hat. He enjoyed playing golf with his friends and having a "cold one". Bert also enjoyed working and spending time with his friends, but his heart never left Elliot Lake, Ontario. His sense of humour and good practical jokes will be missed by many.
