Mrs. Yvonne Vernice Hammond of Medicine Hat, beloved wife of the late Mr. Donald Hammond, passed away surrounded by her loving family at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital at the age of 85 years. Born on December 25th, 1929 to Hjalmar and Carrie Larson the youngest of nine children. She is survived by her four daughters, Donna (Bill) Neufeld of Whelan Bay, SK., Brenda Monette of Medicine Hat, Elaine (Ken) Arsenault of Saskatoon, SK., and Kathy (Mark) Douville of Medicine Hat; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one sister, Lorraine (David) Price of Victoria, BC.; three sisters-in-law, Lil Larson of Rosthern, SK, Janie (Jack) Nelson of Hanna, AB. and Eunice Larson of Herbert, SK.; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her husband of 60 years Donald S. Hammond, Yvonne was also predeceased by one son-in-law, Frank Monette; her parents, three sisters, and four brothers.
