Announcing the passing of a beautiful, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother and dear friend, Mildred Amy “Betty” Caza on Tuesday morning, April 21st, 2015 in Medicine Hat.
Betty was born on July 28th, 1927 and raised near Cabri, Saskatchewan. She married Glenn “Pic” Carleton on November 23rd, 1947 and raised three sons, Pete, Brent and Jim. She married Ken Caza on her birthday in 1990.
She loved life with Ken in Burnaby. They were an incredibly happy couple, doing everything together and always holding hands.
After the passing of her loving husband, Ken, Betty moved to Devon, Alberta in 1996 and lived there and in Edmonton until moving to Medicine Hat in 2007. Betty resided in Southview Grand for many happy years before moving to the Good Samaritans where she lived for 18 months before passing.
Betty was predeceased by her husbands, Glenn Carleton and Ken Caza; her son, Brent in 2011; as well as her sister, Mary Paul of Brandon, Manitoba.
She is survived by her sons, Pete (Tamara) and Jim (Wendy); daughter in-law, Irene; twelve grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and proudly, one great-great granddaughter. She is also survived by her sisters, June, Jennette, and Brenda; her brother, George; and her "best friend in the world", Faye Mitchell of Cabri.
At Betty's request, there will be no funeral service. She will rest in peace!
