Obituary for Beau James Kellough

Beau James Kellough
Beau James Kellough, beloved husband of Terri Kellough of Redcliff, passed away on Thursday, April 9th, 2015 at the age of 33 years. Beau also leaves to cherish his memory his sons, Kade and Jager; father and mother-in-law, Marcel and Rene Desjarlais; brother-in-law, Evan (Chantal) Desjarlais; his mother, Carol; three brothers, Dan (Ginny), Andy (Shannon) and Dave (Nicki); as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Beau was predeceased by his father, Murray; and one brother, Corey.
Beau was born in Calgary Alberta on Dec 5 1981, the youngest of 5 boys. His family moved around often during his childhood, living in various places in Alberta and Newfoundland. As a kid he enjoyed playing football and rugby and eventually found a passion for downhill biking. In 2000, he entered and placed 3rd in an Armwrestling Championship in the Novice division. He came back to Calgary where he met his future wife Terri on Jan 18, 2003 on a blind date. They were married Sept 4 of 2004 and settled in Redcliff. Terri felt extremely blessed to have married such an encouraging and loving man. They had their first son, Kade in 2007 and their second son Jager came along in 2011. His boys were a source of great pride and they were best buddies. Family meant a lot to Beau and and he treasured the time spent with them. He framed houses for many years and most recently worked at League Pipeline as a quality control inspector. He enjoyed movies and all kinds of music. When he liked a song he listened to it over and over until everyone else was sick of it. Although he was fond of many things, he was his happiest in nature with trees and a bonfire . What stands out most is how helpful and friendly he was to everyone he met, no matter who it was. He was a generous, gentle man but strong as well. He was always up for a good time and his sense of humor put everyone at ease. Beau made friends wherever he went. He was humbled and grateful for all the love and support he received when he needed it most. We love you Beau and you are truly one of a kind. Your beautiful spirit will continue to inspire us.
