Evelyn Hazel Jans of Medicine Hat, beloved wife of the late Raymond "Ray" Jans, passed away on Tuesday, August 7th, 2018. Evelyn leaves to cherish her memory ten children, Brian (Joy) Jans, Darlene (Ray) Aman, Daryl (Deborah) Jans, Bruce (Linda) Jans, Deborah (Wayne) Brost, Dean (Diane) Jans, Alison (Dennis) Christie, Laurie (Darryl) Angle, Tracey (Dwayne) Dennis and Brent (Christina) Jans; twenty grandchildren, Steven (Carla) Jans, Jarret (Jessie) Jans, Tannis (David) Schwarz, Kent Aman, Landon (Ivanka) Aman, Tyler Jans (Marta), Brooks (Liana) Jans, Lindsay (Mark) Strutt, Lana Brost (Tyler), Kelli Brost (Ahren), Cameron (Jen) Jans, Janeil (Curt) Lentz, Melissa (Lloyd) Stuber, Kyle (Amie) Christie, Jordan (Kim) Angle, Brandon (Justine) Angle, Jayce Dennis, Mackenzie Dennis, Cullen Jans and Nolan Jans; twenty-nine great grandchildren; one brother, August Johnson (Dianne); two sisters-in-law, Bev Jans and Carol (Les) Herman; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Evelyn was predeceased by her husband, Ray on September 4th, 2005; her parents, August and Christina Johnson; two brothers; and one sister. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1 Dunmore Road SE, on Saturday, August 11th, 2018 from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, on Saturday, August 11th, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. with Reverend Jim Bredeson officiating. A private interment will take place at Saamis Prairie View Cemetery.
