Obituary for W.T. Scott Blair

1961 ~ W.T. SCOTT BLAIR ~ 2020

My name is Scott Blair and on Tuesday, January 21st, 2020, I changed my address to: W.T. SCOTT BLAIR, C/O God my Father, Jesus my Savior, and The Holy Spirit my guider, HEAVEN. I have left to cherish my memory my mother, Connie; my brother, Jim (Marilyn), my sister, Kelly and numerous nieces and nephews. I was predeceased by my father, Bill Blair and my niece, Kimberly Blair. I was born in Ft. Macleod on May 13th, 1961 and moved to Calgary when I was four years old. I was educated at Springbank School until grade 10 and then completed my high school at Concordia College in Edmonton. My secondary education was completed at the University of Hawaii where I lived for 38 years. I loved spending time at, on and in the ocean and appreciated my loyal friends and Beachcomber Pool and Spa customers. Thank you mom for your love and support throughout my life and your unwavering commitment to my care during my illness. Thank you Uncle Miles and Linda for being there for mom and me these past months. Thank you St. Joseph Home’s Carmel Hospice for your care in my final days. I would like any donations to go to Canadian Lutheran World Relief, 600 – 177 Lombard Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3B 0W5. Condolences may be sent through www.saamis.com or to condolences@saamis.com subject heading Scott Blair …TO GOD BE THE GLORY.

I knew Scott very well at Concordia. Although we lost touch after high school, I was very fortunate to reconnect with him a few years ago, and am very glad that I was able to visit him in Hawaii. Scott was one the the kindest and most thoughtful people I have known. His family and friends meant everything to him, and in our last conversation he spoke with great love about those close to him, most especially his mother. Rest In Peace my friend.

Dear Connie, Jim and Kelly, was very saddened to hear of Scott's passing. I remember when you guys lived next door to mom and dad (Alan and Rose Munro) and playing with the kids. Hold close your memories. Sharon Monical (Munro)
