She was the co-owner of B & V Oil and Gas Service Limited for 30 years. Valerie was a strong and energetic woman with a great sense of humour. Her family came first, and she was caring and supporting of their dreams and ambitions. She relished the time spent with them travelling to places like the Cook Islands, Mayan Riviera, Hawaii, and Ixtapa. She had many dear friends who meant the world to her. Her favourite past times include cherished visits with dear friends in the comfort of her home, coffee time with the girls at Tim Hortons and movie outings with friends. She was a dedicated Medicine Hat Tigers fan during hockey season and during the summer, she could be seen at the Medicine Hat Speedway cheering on her son-in-law, Mitch. She shared a very special bond with her two granddaughters, Breeanna and Katie. She cherished every single moment that she shared with them and was always a beloved best friend to them.
