Thomas Reginald David (Reg) Tate passed away on March 17, 2020 with his wife and daughter by his side. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Carol; daughter, Regan (Ryan); and their daughters Aubree, Evanee and Oceania; son, Randy and his daughter, Kayla. He is also survived by daughter Sandra and her family. He is lovingly remembered by his in-laws, Lynne and Dave Bodnar and Elsie Gavel. Uncle Reg held a special place in the hearts of his nieces and nephew Tasha Heck, Talayna Spargo and Trevor Bodnar and their families. Reg moved to Medicine Hat almost a year ago where he had the opportunity to see more of his youngest granddaughters. He lived a very quiet, private life where he enjoyed keeping up with the world events and walking his four-legged friend, Pyppa. He had a wicked sense of humour that made people laugh. Reg was also very intuitive with a deep understanding of things happening in his youngest daughter’s life even if he didn’t express it. He also had great respect for those in the health care profession and would want to express his sincere thanks to all the staff at Meadowlands, the staff on 5E and 4W at the Medicine Regional Hospital and the amazing care team at St. Joseph’s Hospice.
