Obituary for Shelley Litowsky
1958 ~ Shelley Litowsky (nee Kottmeier) ~ 2022
Shelley Rose was born January 8th, 1958 and passed away suddenly on October 31, 2022. She leaves to mourn her husband, Joe Litowsky; her siblings, Tim Kottmeier, Dale
(John) Beaven, Colleen Kottmeier, Margaret (Bob) Lohmaier and Kathleen Kottmeier.
Also survived by her nieces, Andrea, Kyra, Christina, and nephew, Graham. She joined the military right out of High School and, as she was musically inclined, was enlisted into the military band. While in the military, she had the honor of being the first Airborne female parachutist in Southern Alberta. She was a very talented musician and vocalist in which many awards were received. Due to ill health, she moved to River Ridge Care Facility in 2007. The family would like to thank the staff at the facility, especially Paula and Betty, for their wonderful care until her passing. Shelley will be missed by all who knew her. The memorial service will be at Saamis Memorial Funeral Chapel, 1 Dunmore Road SE, Medicine Hat, AB on Friday, November 25, 2022 at 2:00 pm with Bishop Clarke Hyde officiating.
