Sally Marie Pearce passed away, surrounded by family, on Monday, April 10th, 2023 in Maple Creek, SK. Sally is survived by her loving partner, Shane; she is also unmeasurably missed by her brother, John (Thelma); sisters, Heather, Ellen (Willie), and Kathy (Rocky); her children, Jeremy (Dynelle), Melanie (Stephen), Chasity, Kyla (Denver), and Erika; as well as her many grandchildren and extended family members. Sally was predeceased by her parents, William “Bill” and Edith Pearce, as well as her nephew, Cody Davis. People always referred to Sally’s bright smile, kind heart, quick humour, and ability to make others feel welcomed and accepted. Her small stature held a huge heart and a quiet fierceness. She battled cancer with strength and little fanfare, not allowing it to define her life, or to stop her from playing in the dirt with her grandkids and embracing farm life in her later years. The world is better for having had her in it, as well as teaching and inspiring others to approach life in a similar way. The Memorial Service will be held at MAPLE CREEK UNITED CHURCH, 301 Maple Street, Maple Creek, SK on April 15th, 2023 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Michelle Rowe officiating. A tea will follow at the Elk’s Hall, 521 5th Avenue, Maple Creek, SK. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Maple Creek United Church, 301 Maple Street, Maple Creek, SK or in simple acts of kindness.
