Priscilla Agnes Rose Mayer of Medicine Hat, beloved wife of the late Lyle Mayer, passed away on Saturday, February 29th, 2020 at the age of 85 years. Priscilla leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Mark (Dawn) Mayer and Tyler Mayer; one daughter, Tammy Mayer (Edward); one grandson, Bradley Mollin; one brother, John (Birdy) Staley; sister-in-law, Lorraine Staley; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Priscilla was predeceased by her husband, Lyle; her parents, Peter and Reta Staley; three brothers, Henry James, Cecil and William; and three sisters, Lorraine (in infancy), Peggy and Marlene (Terry). Priscilla was born on November 2nd, 1934 in Cold Lake, Alberta where she was raised, educated and worked for the Department of National Defence. She met Lyle and they were married in Edmonton on September 24th, 1955. They lived and raised their family in various places in Alberta before moving to Medicine Hat in 1978. The Funeral Service will be held at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1 Dunmore Road SE, on Saturday, March 21st, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. with Gary W. Goran officiating.
