Monika Silcher of Medicine Hat, Alberta passed away on Monday, July 20th, 2020 at the age of 58 years. Monika leaves to cherish her memory her best friend and partner in life, Eddie Doehring and her step- children; Crystal, Aaron, Caitlin, Chelsea, and Nicholas; brother, Willi (Connie) Silcher; sisters, Hannelore (Gerald) Kulpe and Rita (Dave) Olsen; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Monika was predeceased by her parents, Helmut and Wilma Silcher and her brother, Hinz Silcher. Monika was born and educated in Medicine Hat, AB. She was attracted to the great outdoors and all that it offered, her favourites being riding her motorcycle, boating, horseback riding and side-by-siding. She especially loved doing all these things in Parker Arizona, with all her snowbird friends. At home, she spent her days in her barber shop and weekends at 40 Mile. She was also an avid photographer and liked to post her photos online for her friends and family to enjoy. Monika was a great friend to all who knew her and she absolutely adored being in the company of her friends and family whenever she could. There will be an informal Celebration of Life held on Saturday July 25th, 2020 at Willi and Connie Silcher’s, 12423 RR 65 off the Holsom Road from 2pm - 5pm.
