Mary Dean Sneath went to be with her Lord on January 12, 2024 at the age of 78 years. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Ronald Sneath. She is also lovingly remembered by her daughters, Chantelle (Shawn) Meth and Rebecca (Spencer) Schutte; grandchildren, Abigael, Lydia, Wilson, Hudson, and Sonja; sisters, Kim (Ken) Schnurer, and their children Koren (Tim Waines) and Kami Schnurer, and Leah Maetche; her brother, Kirk (Laurie) Maetche, and their children, Angela (Bart Van Der Loop) and Adam Maetche; and niece, Jennifer Reiniger. Mary Dean was predeceased by her parents, Elizabeth and Elmer Maetche; sister, Janet Reiniger; and son, Jeffrey Sneath. Mary Dean was born on September 15, 1945 in Hanna, AB and was also raised there. She married Ron on August 28, 1965. Mary Dean went to the University of Alberta where she graduated with a teaching degree. She enjoyed scrapbooking and reading. But her favourite pastime was travelling. She loved tea and teapots, dogs, especially Saphire and Petri, music boxes, and spoons. But above all else, family was the most important thing to Mary Dean. The Memorial Service will be held at Temple Baptist Church 606 - 7th Street SW, Medicine Hat, AB on Friday, January 19th, 2024 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Ed Lehman officiating.
