Obituary for Marshall King

It is with great sadness that the family of Marshall King announces his passing on July 14, 2021. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Charlene; 3 children, Johnathon, Tyler (Amanda) and Alyssa; granddaughter, Lillie; brother and sister, Travis King and Shari Cameron, of Rocky Mountain House; in-laws, Robert and Shirley Oates as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Marshall had many friends but Ken (Connie) Melnyk and John (Mary) Kahl developed a close and very special relationship with both Charlene and Marshall. Marshall was predeceased by his parents, John and Lorraine King in Ontario, brother, Jason and his son Ryan at childbirth. Marshall was born in Belleville, Ontario on July 27, 1973. He grew up in Wooler, Ontario, where he lived until 1992, he then moved to Medicine Hat. Shortly after moving here he met the love of his life, Charlene and were married July 20, 1998. They were as much in love the day he left this world (too early) as the day they were married. Marshall will always be remembered for his big heart and was always there to lend a helping hand when needed. He was very well known as a jack of all trades and was very good at it all. There was always a fire and BBQ in the back yard, or at Rattlesnake where a lot of good times were had. There will be a celebration of life for Marshall at a later date this summer. In lieu flowers, please make a donation to a charity of your choice in Marshall’s name. Condolences may be sent to condolences@saamis.com subject heading Marshall King.
