Obituary for Margaret Lutz

It is with great sadness that we announce that Peggy Lutz of Redcliff, passed away on Friday, September 9th, 2022 at the age of 87 years. Peggy leaves to cherish her memory her children, Nelson Lutz (Darcie Acton) of Widewater, AB and Pat (Ken) Martin of Brownfield, AB; grandchildren, Natasha (Mark), Geoffrey (Kara) and Olivia; great-grandchildren, Fletcher, Emerson, Karley and Peyton; brother, Clifford Dacre of Redcliff, AB; special neighbors, Ted and Beth Turner and Jackie and Scott Harrison. Peggy was an active member of the St. Ambrose Church and sang in the choir for 70 years. She was also a brownie leader and had received a Redcliff Volunteer Citizen of the Year award in 2012. She was a school secretary and worked for the Town of Redcliff for many years. In Peggy’s free time she loved golfing, baking, gardening, stained glass and quilting, her greatest joy was her family and she loved everything about being a grandmother and great grandmother. Her family was her pride and joy. Peggy and Vic loved to have family and friends over for meals and to play cards. Peggy was predeceased by her parents, James Dacre and Joan Stevens; her spouse, Victor Lutz; as well as her parents-in-law, numerous sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, two nephews and one niece. The Graveside Service will be held at Redcliff Cemetery on Friday, October 7th, 2022 at 1:00 pm with Dr. David J. Carter officiating.
