Obituary for Margaret Rose Davis (Roche)

Margaret Rose “Peggy” Davis (nee Roche) passed away peacefully at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Thursday, May 19th, 2022 at the age of 82 years, in Medicine Hat, Alberta. Margaret is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Michael Davis. She is lovingly remembered by her children, Joseph (Billijo) Davis, Michelle (Gary) Folk; grandchildren, Ben Davis, Amy Davis, Jason Folk, and Cameron Folk; great granddaughter, Avery Davis; sister, Madeline (Nicholas) Wadden; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Richard and Bridget Roche; sisters, Mary (Wilfred) French, Josephine (Brian) O’Rourke; and brother, Richard (Maureen) Roche. Margaret was born and raised in St. John’s, Newfoundland. She married Mike and their military life took them all across Canada and Europe. They travelled extensively; she had a passion to see new places. Margaret, known to many as Peggy, was a kind and compassionate woman. Her love of her family was immeasurable. She was an active volunteer and supporter of organizations, like the Medicine Hat Head Injury Program and The Legion. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her. The Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Family Parish, 1451 Strachan Road SE, Medicine Hat, AB on Tuesday, May 24th, 2022 at 11:00 am with Father Iqbal Khurshid officiating. Family and friends are also welcome to participate via livestream by logging on to www.youtube.com and joining the live webcast on Medicine Hat Holy Family Church on the above date at 10:50 am.
