Lilly Mueller of Medicine Hat, beloved wife of Emil Mueller, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 21st, 2022 at the age of 91 years. Lilly also leaves to cherish her memory her children, Elli (Dieter) Wieczorek, Peter Mueller (Rosa Pilar), Frank (Shelly) Mueller, and Mike (Nadine) Mueller; grandchildren, Chris (April) Williams, Robin Wieczorek, Stephanie (Kelsey) Fraser, Jeffrey (Amy) Mueller, Madison Mueller and Tyson Mueller (Andrea Contreras); great-grandchildren, Brody, Sydney, Winter, Brandon, Ethan, Stian, Keiran, Benjamin, Olivia, and Elizabeth; brother, Harry (Christa) Quast; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Lilly was predeceased by her parents, Albert and Emma Quast, grandson, BJ Wieczorek; and siblings, Erwin, Artur, and Erika. Lilly and Emil immigrated to Canada in 1967 and settled in Medicine Hat. Lilly loved to dance and sing. She sang for many years in various choirs. She was happiest spending time with her family and she always made the most delicious Christmas feasts. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1 Dunmore Road SE Medicine Hat, AB T1A 1Z5, on Wednesday, October 26th, 2022 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and on Thursday, October 27th, 2022 from 10:00 am to noon. A Graveside Service will be held at HILLSIDE CEMETERY, 5160 Gershaw Dr SW & 10 Ave SW Medicine Hat, AB, on Thursday, October 27th, 2022 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Shane Hein officiating. Those wishing to attend the Graveside Service should meet at the cemetery gates 15 minutes prior to the service.
