Weyburn, Saskatchewan, December 28, 1969 - Medicine Hat, Alberta, November 22, 2022
Kelly passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at the age of 52 years. He is survived by his son, Malcolm Nelson; parents, Rick and Giselle Nelson; sister, Ricki-Lee Fossenier (Kevin); nephew, Ryker Fossenier; niece, Kinley Fossenier and, his girlfriend, Anne Ronquillo as well as many cousins, aunts, and friends. Kelly was employed in the oil and gas industry, working in Alberta, The North Sea, Gabon, Africa and Saudi Arabia. Kelly enjoyed Corvettes, old muscle cars, and motorcycling, having toured a large part of North and South America on two wheels. Kelly had a huge heart and strong spirit. He was always willing to help friends and strangers in need. He will be greatly missed. A celebration of Kelly’s life will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home, 1605 100 Street SE, Calgary, Alberta on Saturday, December 3rd, 2022 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be given to the Alberta Cancer Board & Foundation, Suite 1500, Sun Life Place, 10123 – 99 Street, Edmonton, Alberta T5J 3H1.
