Obituary for Keith Stanley Running
January 17, 1932 – February 6, 2022
Rev. Keith Stanley Running went to be with his Lord and Saviour at the age of 90 years on February 6, 2022.
Keith was born in Brockville Ontario. As a young man sensing God’s call upon his life he attended Eastern Pentecostal Bible College. While at E.P.B.C. Keith met and later married the love of his life and best friend, Anne Brinklow. Together Keith and Anne raised a family and pastored churches in Brighton, Ingersoll, Havelock and Burlington, all in Ontario. In the spring of 1979, Keith accepted the call to “First Assembly of God” Medicine Hat, Alberta where they pastored many years. Coming out of retirement he planted Christ the King Assembly, also of Medicine Hat.
Over the course of his ministry Keith touched the lives of many and will continue to bear much fruit here and through eternity.
Keith leaves behind to mourn his passing his children, Mark (Dawn) Running and Rebecca (Mark) Borrows; his grandchildren Christopher (Nicole) Running, Ashley (David) Barsness, Ksenya (Justin) Montgomery, Mitchell (Shauna) Borrows, Joel (Richelle) Running, and Joshua (Katrina) Borrows as well as 12 great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by His beloved wife Anne, His Mother Bernice, Father Lawrence Stanley and sister Flora.
Celebration of Keith’s life will take place Saturday February 19, 2022 at SAAMIS Memorial Funeral Chapel, Medicine Hat at 10:30 a.m. Live Stream www.saamis.com
