Obituary for Kathaleen Isabel Whipple (Murray)
The family of Kathaleen (Kay) Isobel Whipple sadly announce her passing at the age of 101 years in Medicine Hat on July 26, 2020. Kay was born in Drumheller on November 2, 1918 and was an outstandingly strong and independent woman who always had a smile on her face. She had a wonderful sense of humour, loved to dance and had an extremely positive outlook on life. Kay was always so pleased to spend her winters down in Mesa, Arizona for over 30 years.
Kay is survived by and will be incredibly missed by her youngest sister, Mavis McKay and her many nieces and nephews and their families. She was predeceased by her husband, Earle Whipple; and sons, Danny and Peter; her first husband, Jerry Caldwell; parents, Peter and Josephine Murray; as well as her siblings, Bessie Whipple, Lin Murray, Mona Tyler and Pearl Payne.
