We are sad to announce the sudden passing of Justin Oveson of Medicine Hat, AB on February 7, 2021, at the age of 37 years. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Hajnal Oveson; sister, Tania Oveson (Ashley) Jones. Special Auntie, Annalisa; special cousins, Rainbow, Scott and Julie; the Niwa family, Greg (Doris), Janice, Lindsay and Lindsay's son Parker who had a special connection with Justin calling him "Uncle Ove." As well as numerous Aunts, Uncles, cousins and friends. As a young boy, Justin loved riding his motorcycle and practising Karate. When he moved to Medicine Hat he joined hockey and met lifelong friends BJ, TJ, Logan and Leif, who remained his best friends throughout the years. Justin (Ove by many of his friends) was happiest when he was with "the boys," Vio and Val holding a special place in his heart. He loved to travel, loved the beaches and the waves. He was devoted to his health and fitness and rode his bike, running the steps and jogging daily but he always had room for his mum and sisters baking. Justin's laugh and smile will be missed by many. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at Saamis Memorial Funeral Chapel, 1 Dunmore Road SE, Medicine Hat, AB T1A 1Z5, on Friday, February 12th, 2021 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Due to Covid-19 restrictions a private family service will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2021.
