Jack Robert Rugg of Medicine Hat, passed away peacefully at the Good Samaritans Society on October 31st, 2022. Jack was born January 29th, 1936 in Torquay, SK, the youngest of 5 children. Jack’s life took him from the farm in small town Saskatchewan to the Navy and then to Calgary where he would find the woman to make his life complete, Carol. Jack and Carol married on October 26th, 1962 and were blessed to spend sixty loving years together before his passing. On September 17th, 1976 they welcomed their only son, Daniel, into the world, completing their little family. Jack was loved by many and was always a calm, steady and supportive part of his family. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Carol; his son, Daniel; daughter-in-law, Marlene; grandchildren, Hunter and Breanna; along with his sisters, Pat and Helen May of Calgary, AB. The family would like to give their heartfelt thanks to the staff of the Good Samaritans Society of Medicine Hat, their care for Jack and his family throughout his stay with them will always be appreciated and meant so much during such a trying time.
