Hope Hutchinson of Medicine Hat, passed away on Tuesday, April 13th, 2021 at the age of 96 years. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Ernest and Nellie Brown; son, Dallas Hutchinson; brother, Sandy; and sisters, Nellie, Eunice, Margaret, and Elizabeth. Hope was born on December 22, 1924 in New Toronto, ON. During WWII, like many other young women of that time, she served her country by working as a rivetter on airplanes. During her lifetime Hope had many unique interests including clogging and belly dancing. She also enjoyed watching car racing, BINGO, and bowling. In keeping with Hope’s wishes there will be no formal funeral service. Donations in Hope’s memory may be made to Alberta Heart & Stroke Foundation, 200, 119 – 14th Street NW, Calgary, AB T1A 7L5.
