He was also predeceased by the love of his life Viola (Vi) who passed away on July, 2007 after 57 years of happy marriage. He missed her greatly these past 13 years. Herb was born on January 13, 1925 on a farm near Golden Prairie. He was drafted into the army but shortly after WWII ended so never saw active duty. A big thank you to all of the staff that lovingly cared for Herb over the years in Haven, Sunnyside and Havenview. He appreciated his care givers.
