Obituary for Henry Fournier

Henry unexpectedly passed away due to a work related accident on Monday May 11th, 2020 at the age of 68. He will be terribly missed by his wife, Petra Fournier; son, Shane (Terri) Fournier and their children Jordyn and Brooklyn; son, Dustin (Christine) Fournier; daughter, Nicole Moss and her son Dainen Johnston who shared a bond like no other. His sister, Evelyn (Allen) Mcquid; and brother, Gilbert Fournier. He was an active member of the community with the Moose Lodge, Legion and UCT. Henry loved to do meat draws, play cards, play pool and a bit of golf when he was not painting lines. Henry worked for Modern Industrial Rentals for 35 years until he retired. His real passion was Fournier’s Line Painting and he took such pride in his parking lots and straight lines. Anybody who met Henry or who had worked with him never looked at parking lots the same way. He enjoyed his time with the grandchildren and was very proud of all three grandchildren and his family. A man of few words but a wonderful listener and that made you feel loved and cared for. Henry was such an animal lover so in lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Medicine Hat SPCA, 55 Southview Drive SW, Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1A 8E8. A celebration of life will be held at a later date once we can all gather together. Condolences may be sent through www.saamis.com or to condolences@saamis.com subject heading Henry Fournier.
