Obituary

Henry unexpectedly passed away due to a work related accident on Monday May 11th, 2020 at the age of 68. He will be terribly missed by his wife, Petra Fournier; son, Shane (Terri) Fournier and their children Jordyn and Brooklyn; son, Dustin (Christine) Fournier; daughter, Nicole Moss and her son Dainen Johnston who shared a bond like no other. His sister, Evelyn (Allen) Mcquid; and brother, Gilbert Fournier. He was an active member of the community with the Moose Lodge, Legion and UCT. Henry loved to do meat draws, play cards, play pool and a bit of golf when he was not painting lines. Henry worked for Modern Industrial Rentals for 35 years until he retired. His real passion was Fournier’s Line Painting and he took such pride in his parking lots and straight lines. Anybody who met Henry or who had worked with him never looked at parking lots the same way. He enjoyed his time with the grandchildren and was very proud of all three grandchildren and his family. A man of few words but a wonderful listener and that made you feel loved and cared for. Henry was such an animal lover so in lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Medicine Hat SPCA, 55 Southview Drive SW, Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1A 8E8. A celebration of life will be held at a later date once we can all gather together. Condolences may be sent through www.saamis.com or to condolences@saamis.com subject heading Henry Fournier.

I was so sorry to read about the loss of Henry Fournier and I wanted to send my warmest condolences to the family. To lose someone so loved, a part of your life, can bring such overwhelming grief but the God of all comfort tells us at 2 Kings 20:5 he feels our pain. At jw.org we can read John 5:28, 29 that you will have him in your life once again. May all the memories you have give you calm and peace to help you through until God’s promises come true. Again so very sorry for your heartache.🌻

Please accept my sincere condolences in the loss Henry. My husband truly enjoyed working with Henry thru ACT and our son-in-law was most appreciative to receive his sound advice and guidance a few years ago as he embarked on his line painting business in another city.
Heartfelt sympathy to your family!

My condolences to Henry's family

In the early 1990's Henry was instrumental in getting the Medicine Hat Rec Hockey League off the ground and he was key in running it in its first few years. Henry loved the game of hockey and like most hockey players Henry loved the camaraderie of going to the rink.

Henry gave me some great advice when I returned to hockey after a three year absence due to an accident.
