Harry Koenig, beloved husband of Linda Koenig of Medicine Hat, passed away Tuesday, June 25th, 2019 at the age of 91 years in the care of Riverview Care Centre. Harry also leaves to cherish his memory his children, Peter (Debora), Paul, Nancy, Randy (Alex); grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Harry was predeceased by his two brothers, Alex and Piyus; two sisters, Issabell and Ellise; and his stepson, George. Harry was born on the farm in Golden Prairie. He farmed for forty years in the Golden Prairie area and retired at age 65 to spend time with his family and to go on camping trips. Harry loved animals and music. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1 Dunmore Road SW, on Friday from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, on Saturday, June 29th, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. with Father Francis Tran officiating.
