Garry Joseph Tisnic of Medicine Hat, passed away on Sunday, January 7th, 2024 at the age of 70 years. Garry leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Tracy Balaneski; son-in-law, Kevin Balaneski; grandchildren, Kylee Balaneski, Kiara Balaneski, Karissa Balaneski, and Kolton Balaneski; step daughter,Sheena Russill (Ryan Baxter); grandchildren, Addison Russill and Jackson Russill; siblings, Gloria (Don) George, Geraldine Piper, and Kelvin (Linda) Tisnic; nieces and nephews, Deanna (Al) Bleackley, Jason (Shauna) George, Jaimie Piper, Kiel (Dez) Piper, Trent (Nicole) Tisnic, Derek (Breanna Helgeson) Tisnic, Nicole (TJ Stabner) Tisnic; as well as many great nieces and nephews. Garry was predeceased by his parents, Anton and Lillian Tisnic; son, Travis Tisnic; and brother-in-law, Jim Piper. Garry’s family was the cornerstone of his life and his love for them was unwavering. His passion for his business, Tisnic Excavating, was evident in every project he undertook. He loved to dance, ride his quad and go camping. Garry could often be heard laughing and joking around. Always willing to debate a subject and prove he is always right! He enjoyed cooking up a feast for friends and family, with steak being his speciality, always done to perfection.
