For further information please call 403-528-2599 or visit our website at https://www.saamis.com Cornelius Johannes Wilhelmus (Connie) Müller passed away peacefully at 5:15 pm on Tuesday, May 26th, 2020 at the age of 54 after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Connie is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Anneleen (Annie) Müller. He will also be lovingly remembered by his children, Jurgen Müller, Riekert Müller, Dominique Müller and Reinhardt Müller; his mother, Leonie Müller; sisters, Marietjie Venter and Hannli Strydom; brother, Wessel Müller, their spouses, children and grandchildren; one grandchild, Oaklee Brown; and his many friends and family in South Africa and Medicine Hat. Connie was pre-deceased by his father, Lodewyk (Loot) Josef Jurgens Müller in South Africa. Connie was born on May 9th, 1966 in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. He grew up in Pretoria and frequently vacationed with his family at their family beach house in Eersterivier, Eastern Cape, South Africa. He cherished his memories of Eersterivier right up to the end of his life. Connie was conscripted to the South African military in 1985 and 1986. He worked at Ford Manufacturing Company of South Africa in Pretoria for 23 years. Connie enjoyed camping, DIY projects at home and the beach house, spending time with his family, and braai (BBQ). Connie moved to Canada with Anneleen and their children and he worked at Goodyear Canada Incorporated in Medicine Hat since 2014. He loved Canada and living in Medicine Hat for nearly six years before his passing. Connie loved the outdoors, skiing and target shooting. He especially loved cycling and participated in the Medicine Hat gran fondo for a number of years, even after his diagnosis.
