Obituary for Claudette Campbell

Marie Elaine “Claudette” Campbell (Nee Poulin)
May 21, 1946 – October 6th, 2022
At 11:20 pm, October 6th, 2022, Claudette passed away peacefully while a patient at Medicine Hat Regional Hospital.
Claudette was born in Bourlamaque, Quebec to Leonidas Poulin who passed away in 1965 & Jeanne Poulin (Lamarche) who passed away in 1962.
Claudette was married in 1968 to Gerald Wayne Campbell who predeceased her in 2014. She was predeceased by two brothers, Roland & Real Poulin, father & mother in-law, Harold and Sarah Campbell, sister in-law Darlene Cunliff.
She is survived by her younger sister Suzanne Poulin, brother-in-law & sister in-law Bryon and Maryanne Campbell, brother-in-law & sister in-law Darrell and ShirleyCampbell, sister-in-law & brother in-law Cheryl & Richard Reynolds.
Claudette met Gerry while he was serving with the Canadian Forces (RCAF) Military Police at CFS Val d’Or, PQ. They enjoyed many years of military life while being posted throughout Canada and Germany.
Claudette was employed for many years in the retail industry and with the military retail outlet Canex in Canada and Germany.
They both retired in Medicine Hat where they enjoyed travelling and camping. They loved to socialize with their friends Jack (deceased) & Betty Wedge, Gord Briosi, Al Carruthers, Donna Demuy, and Budd & Anne Holmans.
We express many grateful thanks to the staff at Chinook Village, the doctors and nursing staff at Medicine Hat Regional Hospital, the staff at Saamis Memorial Services and to the specialists that attended to her health concerns.
Obedient to Claudette’s wishes, there will be no funeral/memorial service. There will be a private grave-side service at a later date.
