Obituary for Chris Hullah

1949 ~ Christopher Alan Hullah ~ 2024
Chris passed away peacefully on February 27th, 2024 surrounded by his family. Chris was the youngest of the family born to Walter and Alice (nee Myers) Hullah on September 29, 1949 in Harrogate, N. Yorkshire, England. After finishing school, Chris joined the British Army (R.E.M.E). When posted to BATUS in 1972, he met the love of his life, Ann, and they were married the same year. After his discharge from the army, the couple settled in Medicine Hat to raise their children and build their life. Chris was a Construction Supervisor for the majority of his career but was a carpenter by trade and in his heart. After retiring, he continued woodworking until the very end; crafting furniture and numerous projects for family that will be treasured forever. Chris will be remembered for his carpentry skills, his wicked sarcasm, and terrible “Dad Jokes'' that made everyone groan and laugh at the same time. Chris is survived by his wife of 52 years, Ann; his daughter, Tracy (Trevor) and their children, Carrie (Brandon), their children, CJ and Annie, Alex (Zoe) and their daughter, Evelyn, Matt (Linsay) and Abby; his son, Cory (Lora) and his children, Klarissa, Anthony, Jillian and Gemma; his youngest son, Eric (Janelle) and their children, Thane and Anders. He also leaves a sister, Wendy (Tony), in England, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; brothers, Donald and Stan; and sisters, Marjorie and Christine. A private family interment will be held later this spring.
