Obituary for Caroline Parker-Woodard

Caroline Sarah Parker-Woodard of Irvine, AB passed away suddenly on Tuesday, November 16th, 2021 at the age of 67 years. Caroline leaves to cherish her memory her loving partner, Larry; children, Bonnie, Jessica, Andrew and Cole; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; brother, Gary; sister, Norah; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Caroline was predeceased by her parents, Andrew and Norah Parker; son, Robbie; and brothers, Andrew and James. Caroline was born in Glasgow, Scotland on January 8, 1954. At the age of 15 she moved to Canada to live with her sister in Ontario. She lived in many different locations throughout Canada until she met Larry in Sylvan Lake in 1989 and settled in Calgary until 2007 when they chose to call Medicine Hat their home. Caroline was fun-loving and spirited. She enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with family and friends. She also liked to decorate and garden. Caroline’s talent was making people laugh with her infectious laugh. Caroline was a treasure to her family, and she will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1 Dunmore Road SE, Medicine Hat, AB on Friday, November 19th, 2021 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm as well as on Saturday, November 20th, 2021 from 1:00 pm to 1:50 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, on Saturday, November 20th, 2021 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Shane Hein officiating.
