Mr. Brian Mair of Medicine Hat, beloved husband and best friend of Mrs. Bev Mair, passed away on Wednesday, May 15th, 2019, after a long battle with cancer, with his wife by his side while in the hospice at the age of 61 years. He is survived by his children, Chris (Michelle), Misty and Kendra (Sheldon); grandchildren, Mason, Jayden, Carter, Tryec, Shya, Carson and Benton; his sister, Colleen Barr; and cousin, Rod Popel. Brian was predeceased by his mother; and son, Correy. He could no longer fight the fight; he was a warrior and loved by all. Brian “Papa” was a jack of all trades, master in none. Brian and Bev got married April 4th, 2019 in the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital after 26 years together which was Brian’s request, along with a cheeseburger supper. As per Brian’s request a private family time of remembrance will be held at a later date. I would like to thank each and everyone who helped him through his battle. Now he is finally at peace and can watch his show, Oak Island. He will be missed by all whom he knew.
