Obituary for Brenton Lyle Brehmer

The family of Brenton “Brent” Lyle Brehmer is sad to announce his sudden passing in his home on May 25, 2022. Brent was born on September 8, 1954 in Medicine Hat where he lived his entire 67 years. His early years were full of adventures, including baseball, hockey, racquetball, skiing, motocross racing, and general hell raising. He found a love for road trips and visited almost every state and NFL stadium, indulging his curiosity along the way for history and national parks. He enjoyed a long and successful career as a communications technician with AGT/Telus Communications. Brent is survived by his daughter, Stacey Brehmer of Edmonton and her mother, Cheri Brehmer of Medicine Hat. Also mourning his passing are his sisters, Bev (Don) Toews of Wembley and Merlynne (Rocky) Aman of Medicine Hat; and brother, Blaine (Linda) of Calgary. He was a dear uncle to Murray (Colleen), Muranda, Carlee, Ty, Tim (Marcia), Alicia (Kevin), Liam, Averyl, Arilyn, Andrea, Greg (Michelle), Daylen, Julie, Dawson, Brian (Shawna), Breann, Reid, Jason (Deena), Wyatt, Wilkes, Jillian (Ryan), Brady, Logan (Tracy), Lexi, and Mya. Brent was predeceased by his father, Merl Brehmer; mother, Florence Brehmer; and nephew, Jeff Toews. Respectful of Brent’s wishes, there will be no funeral service.
