Obituary for Brenda Lorraine Almond (Seller)
Brenda Almond (nee Seller) passed away at Carmel Hospice, Medicine Hat, AB on May 17, 2023 and went to be with her Lord. She is survived by her husband, Ian, of 52 years. Brenda is also lovingly remembered by her daughter, Nicole; sons, Mike (Carolyn), Dennis (Erin) and David (Lynda); her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchild; her brother, Gordon Seller (Connie) and sister, Donna Seller (Tom); as well as several nephews and nieces. Brenda was predeceased by her parents, Donald and Margaret Seller, and brother, John “Butch” Seller, all of Devon, AB.
Brenda was the happiest when she was spending time with her kids and playing with her grandkids. She was very involved with her church community. As a nurse she had the desire to help others in need. She enjoyed gardening, baking and doing puzzles. Traveling became a passion and she saw and enjoyed much of the world. Visitation will be held at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, #1 Dunmore Road SE, Medicine Hat on Saturday May 20th from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. The Funeral Service will be held at DEVON UNITED CHURCH, #2 St. Clair Street, Devon, AB on Monday, May 22,2023 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Phyllis Greenslade officiating. Interment to follow at the Peace Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Samaritan Purse, Box 20100, Calgary Place, Calgary, Alberta T2P 4J2 or the Canadian Cancer Society, 325 Manning Road NE, Calgary, AB T2E 2P5.
