Beryl Cowan (nee Swingle) passed away in her sleep at age 95, on July 7th, 2020. She was predeceased by her late husband, Dr. Murray Cowan, 26 years ago. Left to cherish her memory are her four children, Brent (Dee) Cowan, Susan (Larry) Stoller, Laurie (Reg) Hashizume, and Brenda (Dave) DeGagne; as well as 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She lived her life with dignity and poise and was a willing spirit right to the end. She loved new adventures including her many trips to Maui where she enjoyed snorkeling and scuba diving – always on the lookout for turtles. We all hope she has found a never-ending game of bridge wherever she is,and wish her good tablemates and an even better hand. The family would like to thank Dr. Mastel for his years of care, and all the staff at Masterpiece Southland Meadows, for allowing her to live her final years independently and with grace. No services will be held, per her request.
