When I first met Alfie he gave me a ride to the mess hall in his red VW rabbit cabriolet convertible. At that time I was immediately struck by Alfie’s very unique and unmilitary like personality. What a fantastic breath of fresh air it was to meet and talk to such a humble and kind happy go lucky character. After Alfie left 1CER I often wonder what kind of exotic adventures Alfie would be involved in. Till we meet again Alfie, I want to share a beer with you and hear all about your great adventures. Chimo!
