Obituary for Jacqueline Rheta "Jackie" Schuler (Gross)

Jacqueline Rheta “Jackie” Schuler, beloved wife of Ted Schuler of Medicine Hat, passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at the age of 77 years. Jackie also leaves to cherish her memory her children, Scott (Bernetta), Tracey (Douglas) Skurdal, Jeffrey, and Cameron; five grandchildren, Matthew (Jenna) Schuler, Kyle and Ryan Schuler, and Alyshia and Andrew Skurdal; two brothers, Brian (Joanne) Gross and Keith (Connie) Gross; sister-in-law, Audrey Gross; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Jackie was predeceased by her parents, Jacob and Margaret Gross; and two brothers, Edward Gross and Ted (Marg) Gross. Jackie was born in Lethbridge on March 29, 1941 and was raised on the farm in Grassy Lake. She attended school in Grassy Lake and went to Calgary to become a nurse’s aide. On July 13, 1963, Jackie married Ted in Medicine Hat. They lived in Schuler where Jackie helped Ted run Mac’s Cash Store for 35 years. They retired to Medicine Hat in 1999.
